Klegg Netdisk Mega
|
The
Klegg NetDisk is the world's first
consumer-friendly, external Ethernet/USB 2.0
combo hard drive embedded with Ximeta's
revolutionary NDAS technology, which allows
direct connection to any network without the
need for IP configurations or expensive
servers! |
| |
The
Klegg NetDisk is designed from the ground up
for easy expansion, secure data storage and
simple network sharing of all your files in
a sleek, cost-effective and portable unit. |
|
Direct Networking |
|
|
Just connect
NetDisk into a wired or wireless network
(LAN) switch, install the Drive
software and simply use it just like a
local disk drive on each specified
computer.
|
|
High Performance
|
|
|
Because NDAS
technology allows direct storage
connection to the network, the data
process path and speed is as durable and
fast as a computer's internal storage.
Other external network storage devices
are more complex, rely on a server, and
have longer data processing paths.
Ultimately, competitor solutions
experience significant degradation in
performance.
|
|
Plug-n-Play
Portability |
|
|
NetDisk is the
size of a small book and weighs only 3
lbs., making it easy to unplug, pack and
go!
Get the benefit of direct networking for
numerous computers, or immediate use
through high-speed USB 2.0 connection
for one computer.
|
|
Centralized Digital
Storage |
|
|
The Klegg NetDisk
is the central storage unit for
all business or home entertainment
needs. Store Movies, Music, Photos, and
Data directly from your
Klegg Media
Center TV.
|
|
Simple Expansion -
Limitless Storage |
|
|
NDAS allows for easy backup or expansion
through software features that allow
Mirroring (RAID 1), Aggregation or RAID
0. Simply connect another NDAS storage
device and follow easy instructions to
increase storage capacity or create an
automatic copy of your primary NDAS
unit.

|
|
|
|
|
|
Easy Installation |
|
|
Simply place the
installation CD into each computer that
will use NetDisk and setup will
automatically begin. NDAS technology
eliminates the need for complicated
settings or further configurations such
as TCP/IP or DHCP.

|
|
Controlled Security |
|
|
Each NetDisk has a
unique hardware ID and access keycodes
which allow you to specify which
computer users have read and write
access, read access only or even no
access to NetDisk? even though they are
all connected on the same network! Also,
since NetDisk requires no TCP/IP
setting, the unit is invisible and safe
from external hackers. Symantec backup
software is also included for added
security.

Efficient Heat
Transfer System |
|
|
NetDisk is encased
in a dual-frame aluminum, heat-sink
construction for approved strength and
stability.
A resourceful heat transfer system
dispels high temperatures to the outside
surface and efficiently protects the
data within.
